
At one time Pittsburgh & Lake Erie's Beaver passenger station was a mini
transportation hub, with the railroad, and passenger street cars of the
Beaver Valley Traction and the Stubenville and East Liverpool meeting at a
single location.

A former P&LE RR H-8 class 2-8-2 Mikado steam locomotive is not easily
recognized in this picture of the Mexico's National Oil Company's No. 4111
with its lowered headlight and oil tender having replaced the coal
handling version which it was received with - more details and information
on these locomotives is found in Kahndog

The P&LE's Aliquippa yards at the steel-making facilities are gone, the
only action is at Blacks Run, serving the portion of the plant still
functioning and the Ohio River Branch in this 1989 picture.
